Who We Are

HAIFA stands for Helios AI Factory. We are a small team inside Asseco Solutions with one ambitious goal: build an AI-first software factory. We do not want to use AI merely as an auxiliary tool — we want it at the centre of the entire development process.

The know-how we accumulate along the way is not meant to stay locked within our team. The plan is to share it with other teams in the company and with other companies in the group.

First Project: NEO_HEF

Every factory needs its first order. Ours is NEO_HEF — the migration of the Fenix ERP system for Czech public administration from Visual Basic 6 to .NET 10.

Fenix is currently used by roughly two thousand public-sector organisations in the Czech Republic. This is not a greenfield application but a technological renewal of a system that must keep running without interruption. A project like this is the ideal proving ground for an AI-first approach: the scope is large, the rules are clear, and the results are measurable.
